August 11, 2018 (Penticton) – The Penticton Peachfest Parade was once again anchored by 3 caring companies supporting United Way CSO and promoting the South Okanagan Drive Thru Breakfast.
BURNCO, a long-time corporate supporter and donor, coordinated the parade “floats” with staff and kids joining in the fun by decorating the trucks in United Way signage and decorations. They supply candy and staff who gladly join in the procession at the back of the parade.
Murray GMC Penticton provides a brand new GMC truck wrapped in graphics donated and installed by Sherwood Signs and Graphics. This mobile billboard has the Drive Thru info and dates. The truck will act as a billboard out front of the dealership for the next month until the September 20th event.
Our team took part with Chris Basso, summer associate, handing out Drive Thru flyers and Executive Director, Helen Jackman driving the truck and son, Oliver, handing out candy. Happy birthday Oliver! We really appreciate you and friend, Hunter, helping us out on such a special day!!
Thanks to these community champions for supporting United Way and giving back right here at home. Another act of local love!!
