May 25, 2019 (Kelowna, BC) – The United Way Bus Pull returns to downtown Kelowna Saturday, May 25th with a record 17 teams fundraising and competing for bragging rights and the United Way Community Cup. This will be a fun, family event with the Boyd Autobody Car-B-Q run by GenNext Kelowna, “Everything that Rumbles” Showcase by Gasoline Alley, and of course the main event that starts at 10 a.m.
This years goal is $20,000 and teams are well on their way to reaching this. Funds raised here, stay here with all proceeds going to the United Way Community Fund that supports 73 charities serving 1 in 4 vulnerable people in our communities.

Where: Prospera Place south parking lot (Cawston Ave.)
When: Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
9:30 a.m. – Team registration and photos
10:00 a.m. – Welcome and kickoff with Emcees – David and Tony of K96.3
10:15 a.m. – Bus Pull starts; all teams get 2 races in time trials followed by quarter-finals, semi-finals and then top times compete for the Community Cup.
1 p.m.+ – Presentations – Community Cup, Top fundraiser, Top Fundraising team, Best Team Spirit and Most Enthusiastic (Dead last).
