Are You a Leader?

Leaders have the power to change our community. They inspire others to create hope for a positive tomorrow. Being a Leader sets a profound example of giving while making a measurable impact in the community. Together we can meet urgent needs in the short and long term, changing lives and strengthening the community as a whole.

What your Leadership donation can do:

  • $1000 provides a six week parenting course for a family living in poverty or dealing with abuse
  • $2500 provides 60 homeless and at risk youth with overnight shelter
  • $5000 provides 760 food hampers to vulnerable parents of young children who are living in poverty
  • $7500 provides literacy tutoring to 6 vulnerable adults, helping them to complete school, gain employment and be an active contributor to their community

“When I learned about the great need in our community, year after year, and the increasing gap between
dollars available and funds requested, I was shocked. I had no idea so many people needed help, nor did I know how many amazing organizations are out there to provide the help that is needed.”

“I appreciate the need to support the clients directly, and also the people trying to help to navigate those systems more and more efficiently from a charity development role. That’s why I support United Way.”

– Susan McIntyre, Owner/President – People in Focus Consulting Ltd.
