Another impactful Day of Caring took place today powered by Pushor Mitchell, and matching the journeyman talents of Flynn Canada Ltd with the carpentry needs of the charity Elevation Outdoors. On May 31st the team of 9 volunteers spent the afternoon creating a safe and secure bike rack system inside the charity’s trailer to ensure the bikes get transported around efficiently as part of Elevation’s Learn to Shred program. This allows groups of at-risk youth to go through the process of learning new recreational activities such as mountain biking, while teaching life skills and engaging them with mentorship support at the same time.

TJ, John,  Chris, Kim and the rest of the team from Flynn Canada in Lake Country brought tools and skills and got the job done in no time, setting Elevation Outdoors up for a smooth summer of bike transportation ahead. Mike Greer, ED of Elevation Outdoors said “It is awesome when volunteers bring both their enthusiasm and specific skills to any project. The team from Flynn was awesome to work with and they even managed to create some bike features out of our spare wood too. We are so grateful for their help!”
